Fostering a Collaborative Community-based Approach towards Planetary Health through Tech Solutions

March 5 @ 7:30 pm 8:30 pm

The Earth-team.org Solutions Map is an interactive geolocated database of all partners that form the Earth Team alliance. The database comprises the scope of work of the partners, areas of impact, contact details, photographs and whether those partners are looking for funding or volunteers. In addition to the partners database, the solutions map adds a switchable layer of a periodically updated wildlife crime incidents database which helps spread awareness about the threat and spread of wildlife trafficking incidents around the world. This can help identify vulnerable species and areas, allow peers and law enforcement to connect the dots to measure impact of interventions, and effect better policy decisions. During the talk we will present the features of the map which allow for cross-border collaboration and path ahead to achieve greater success with a reward mechanism for high-impact contributors.
